Six Weeks From Campus to BDR: The Full Curriculum.
Six weeks, two phases, one scored checkpoint that decides whether an Outlier touches your real pipeline. Here's the exact curriculum, the pod that runs it, and where this model breaks.
Most intern to BDR programs are a laptop, a script PDF, and a prayer. Someone hands a 22-year-old a dialer, tells them to just get comfortable, and checks back in a month to see who survived. The ones who survive usually did it despite the program, not because of it. That is the default, and it is why most founders who try the junior-talent route once do not try it twice.
The problem is never the raw material. Campus hires are sharper and hungrier than many experienced BDRs who have spent years operating within established sales routines. The problem is that nobody builds a system around them. A script is not a curriculum. A week of shadowing is not training. And figuring it out on live calls is how you burn a prospect list before the BDR is any good.
The pod, not the person:
A GTM strategist who owns ICP and messaging, a coach reviewing calls weekly, and an analyst watching list quality. The Outlier being trained is never the only one accountable for the outcome.
The six weeks:
PHASE 1 - BUILD THE BDRs
Foundation → Messaging → Calling

Outbound vs inbound, the basic vocabulary of the tools, what prospecting means before anyone is handed a list.
